Giselle de Andrade, DC
A board certified Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. de Andrade completed her training at the New York Chiropractic College and received her Bachelor’s of Arts from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. de Andrade is licensed in the States of New York and New Jersey. Dr. de Andrade is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City. Additionally, she is a Certified Nutritionist and graduated from the New York Chiropractic College. With over 20 years as a practitioner, Dr. de Andrade’s guiding principles are the holistic treatment of the individual and the goal of educating patients on the benefits of chiropractic care in combination with alternative medical approaches. Her particular areas of expertise are the examination and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions using multi-diagnostic analysis and chiropractic manipulative procedures and non-forced techniques. Dr. de Andrade’s background also includes certification in the Webster Technique which qualifies her to provide chiropractic services as part of a woman’s prenatal care. In addition, Dr. de Andrade has training and certification in massage therapy, nutrition, cranial sacral technique, myofascial release and activator techniques.
Dr. de Andrade has built a family-focused practice with a clientele that covers a variety of professionals; from businesspeople to artists to athletes to educators. Through her years of practice, she has established and is supported by a well structured network of health-care professionals (e.g., acupuncturists, orthopedists, massage therapists, physical therapists, chinese medicine, and others). For leisure, Dr. de Andrade spends her free time traveling, enjoying the outdoors, participating in cultural activities and the theatre.
